Not all was well last night in Queens.

Even though the Mets routed the Dodgers by a score of 13-7 in Game 3 of the NLDS on Monday night, Matt Harvey struggled, in my opinion.

Harvey battled through five innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits. He walked two and struck out seven.

Harvey gave up all three runs in the second inning when he allowed four consecutive singles.

Not every ball was hit hard so you can't pin it all on Harvey, but the Mets needed a sharper Matt Harvey. He threw 97 pitches through five innings so he wasn't able to give the Mets a deep performance that could save the bullpen heading into Game 4.

Of those 97 pitches, 60 were strikes. That's right around 60 percent and you'd love to see that number around 65 percent if you're manager Terry Collins.

Harvey was at 68 percent strikes during the 2015 season, so this performance wasn't quite what the Mets had seen all year.
