HBO Cancels ‘Hard Knocks’

HBO has announced that they will not be producing a season of 'Hard Knocks' this season due to the NFL lockout.  Here's a look at the best year of 'Hard Knocks' for old time's sake.

The 2010 New York Jets were the subject of 'Hard Knocks' last year.  HBO won three Sports Emmys by documenting Rex Ryan and the rest of the Jets during training camp.  It was a fantastic series last year.

Sports Illustrated's Peter King declared on Twitter that HBO would not be producing a series this year due to the NFL lockout and a lack of interest of NFL teams to take part in the series.  There is virtually no chance that HBO could have trumped its series last season with a subject like the Jets.  Hopefully, 'Hard Knocks' will return next year.
