The New York Yankees have a contract in place with third baseman Chase Headley, it's a four-year deal worth a little more than $50 million, sources told ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney.

The third baseman, Headley hit a combined .243 last season with 13 home runs and 49 RBIs for the San Diego Padres and New York.
