The main topic on sports radio shows across the country this morning is Ray Rice's (lack of) suspension.

Whether you believe his suspension should've been longer or not, the bottom line is that it wouldn't have gotten this much play or been allowed to live this long in the media circles if Goodell would've slapped a six game suspension on Rice.

Goodell, that's fine if you have internal circumstances that allowed you to cut the suspension short, but know that these are the consequences. It's been over half a week and we're talking about an off-the-field suspension in late July.

It's hard to take the headlines away from training camps when football is getting started back up. Congrats, Goodell. That's what you did.
