New York Giants offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz is ready to get back on the field with his team after having ankle surgery in the off-season.

"It feels good," said Schwartz. "No pain, no soreness, and it’s good to keep building every week. You can see the kind of gains if you keep doing the exercises every week.

"I’m feeling strong, I’m feeling good. It’s good to get some of that movement back in my ankle and be feeling good again."

The Giants could definitely use a healthy Schwartz this season after finishing last year at 6-10.

"We definitely have a lot to build on from last year. our record doesn’t show what progress we have made, especially on the offensive side of the ball. It’s good to kind of see us play through a lot of the struggles we had. A lot of teams when they have struggles, pack it in and don’t give it as much effort.

"We were giving the same amount of effort, maybe even more. We were scoring a lot of points, and were efficient. This year we need to keep that efficiency in the passing game and we need to run the ball better. Hopefully i can bring that to the offensive line."

Geoff Schwartz joins Armen and Levack every Tuesday at 5:15p ET on 104.5 The Team.
