Aww, poor baby.  Jerzy Janowicz threw a major temper tantrum during his whittle tennis match.  He needs a timeout so he can think about what he’s done.

Jerzy Janowicz lost his mind during an Australian Open match against Somdev Devvarman on Wednesday.  (Note to self: never name my children Somdev)  Janowicz thought that Devvarman hit a ball long during a first set tiebreaker.  Janowicz had set point at 9-8.  The ball was called good by the chair umpire.  That was Janowicz’s cue to act like a crazy person.

I’m used to witnessing temper tantrums.  I do the “Crosstalk” with Bruce Jacobs every day at 3:00pm ET during “Game On” (weekdays 3-7pm on 104.5 The Team).  Bruce is no stranger to getting on his soapbox while getting angry and animated at times.  I know temper tantrums when I see them.  I’m well-versed in this subject.

This display by Janowicz was embarrassing.  It wasn’t entertaining in a John McEnroe kinda way.  It was embarrassing in a dude, get-a-grip kinda way.  Janowicz acted like a crazy lunatic while he melted down.  Janowicz lost the first-set tiebreaker 12-10, but won the match in five sets.  Congratulations, dude.  Now, go sign up for anger management.
