The Tennessee Titans are expected to release running back Chris Johnson before offseason workouts begin on April 7, according to Pro Football Talk.

The Falcons were thought to be interested, but they are reportedly out.

However, the Jets have emerged as a potential landing spot for Johnson, according to Ian Rapoport.

Johnson has rushed for at least 1,000 yards in each of his six NFL seasons, including 2,006 in '09.
