Former New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi was in the Capital Region yesterday to speak at the Capital about legalizing gambling. While in the area Girardi made a few stops, one of which was Station 4 in Troy.

I enjoy that Girardi is in town to help with the gambling debate. He is revered by many in the state especially those who love sports which would most likely be the major voices in support of legalized gambling. The biggest plus for me when referring to Joe Girardi is that he didn't just rush out of town after he spoke. In the past celeb athletes like Ronda Rousey came here to speak about legalizing Mixed Martial Arts she was in a limo out of town right after. Joe grabbed a slice a pizza and stopped by Station 4. Almost makes me wonder if politics are in Giradi's future?
