Jose Reyes Gets Hit After Losing Ball In Sun [VIDEO]

New York Mets fans; this video might be a dream come true for you.

Okay, it’s hard to blame former New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes for signing a six-year, $106 million contract with the Miami Marlins in the offseason.  That’s a lot of coin for Jose Reyes to pass up and re-sign with the Mets.  However, if you’re a Mets fan, how can you not take a little joy in seeing Jose Reyes lose a ball in the sun and get hit by it?  Plus, it was against the Mets in Citi Field of all places!  You’ve got to, at least, see the irony in the play unfolding the way it did when you consider the history of Reyes and the Mets.  Great stuff. The Mets ended up beating the Marlins in this game on Thursday 6-1.
