Keegan Bradley Wins 93rd PGA Championship
In dramatic fashion Keegan Bradley rallied for the big win on Sunday, ending the USA's win drought at major championships.
It was a dramatic win on Sunday for Keegan Bradley. He rallied back from 5 shots down and a triple bogey to beat fellow American Jason Dufner in a playoff that lasted 3 holes. Dufner had a commanding lead going into the 15th hole, but things fell apart for him. Bradley beat him on the third hole of the playoff and finished the day at -8.
On the 15th hole Dufner hit his tee shot into the water, which would be the first of several mistakes that led to 3 straight bogeys forcing the playoff. In the playoff Bradley would shine, winning his first major title. This is also the first major title for an American in 7 majors. Phil Mickelson was the last American to win a major at the 2010 Masters.
