The New York Jets have decided to no longer host their training at SUNY Cortland. Instead the Jets will remain home using their training center at Florham Park. This appears to be the final act to sever all ties with former head coach Rex Ryan. The team had discussed no longer going away to camp for years now but Ryan was a fan of getting away and forcing the team to bond.

This makes 21 of the 32 NFL teams that no longer go away to training camp. The times they are changing. There was a time EVERY team would get away and have camp at a different location. Now the cost of moving and entire team, renting a facility and a million other expenses we won't think about is keeping teams home. Hopefully for Gang Green this will help the team adapt to new head coach Todd Bowles faster.

I will be sad to see that camp atmosphere go. Last year we spoke to rookie tightend Jace Amaro, Demario Davis and Rex Ryan.
