The Silver Warriors topped Syosset in the state semifinal to get to the championship game.

Niskayuna was led by UNC-bound senior Aidan O'Brien (5 goals), Duke bound senior John Prendergast (4 goals), and sophomore Lucas Quinn (3 goals).

Prendergast told the Times Union: "When you go into a game like this it's not just for you. It's also for the coaches and all the people who have come before us and made it to this stage or paved the way for us to have these awesome OPPORTUNITIES. I'm so proud to be a Niskayuna Silver Warrior."
