How can you not respect a coach who eats fire for breakfast?  I respect this Ole Miss hitting coach already.

Cliff Godwin is a hitting coach on the Ole Miss baseball team.  Ole Cliff has a very unique pregame ritual; the man eats fire.  Godwin is a flame eater.  He incorporates his flame-eating prowess into his pregame routine.  The first question that pops into to my mind is, "how does someone become instantly good at being a flame eater?"

Do you know what I mean?  Take, for instance, playing guitar.  You're not instantly good the first time you pick a guitar up.  It takes some practice and some trial & error. The only difference is that you're not risking a burned face, missing tongue, or torched teeth when you're initially unsuccessful at playing guitar.  You better be a quick study when it comes to anything associated with eating flames.

I'm going to go way out on a limb and assume that Siena's hitting coach, Ryan Myers, does not eat fire during his pregame ritual.  Siena got a split in their home opener on Sunday.  Siena won its home opener 6-4 over Binghamton thanks to a stellar effort by junior pitcher Justin Brantley.  Siena dropped the nightcap 6-3.  The Bearcats scored three times in their final at bat.
