When the LeMoyne College lacrosse team takes the field on Sunday in the NCAA Division II National Championship game against Limestone, they will be doing so with a pair of Shenendehowa graduates at the forefront in senior Mike Jenkins and junior Brain Rogers.

The pair is a prolific scoring tandem and together make up two of the Dolphins' top three scorers. This matchup with Limestone is a chance at redemption for LeMoyne, who fell in the same situation a year ago to Limestone.

We spoke with both Jenkins and Rogers today about what the emotions are heading into the weekend, what the motivation has been like this season knowing the group lost in the championship a year ago, and what LeMoyne needs to do to win this time around.

We also asked about the growth of lacrosse in the Capital Region and what attracts people to the sport.
