Patriots Rob Gronkowski Has Ankle Surgery

"Ankle-Gate" continues as sources are now reporting that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has had surgery to repair his damaged ankle.

A night of dancing proved to be too much for Rob Gronkowski.   ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that he has had surgery on his ankle, and the recovery time is about 10 weeks.  Looks like Gronk can forget about lacing up his dancing shoes for a little while.

Gronkowski wasn't much of a factor for the Patriots last week in the Super Bowl after suffering a high ankle sprain in the AFC championship game.  he only came up with two passes, and came out on the wrong side of a key interception.
