The New York Rangers have agreed to a four-year, $18 million contract extension with forward Mats Zuccarello. Zuccarello, was a name that was being shopped around last week for trades, after his team and the Rangers couldn't come to terms for an extension. The 27-year old Norwegian, has 35 points in 59 games this season.

The Rangers made three trades Sunday, acquiring defenseman Keith Yandle from Arizona, and New York dealt Lee Stempniak to the Winnipeg Jets and acquired James Sheppard from the San Jose Sharks.

The NHL trade deadline at 3 p.m. ET on Monday.
