Rangers Beat The Capitals, 3-1
The New York Rangers survived their series with Ottawa with a dramatic win. They carried that momentum over to their game one against Washington on Saturday.
Once again, Henrick Lundqvist proved his worth. 17 saves, and the Rangers were able to skate by The Capitals 3-1 on Saturday night. Washington Goalie Braden Holtby let two big goals go by in the third, which made things very difficult for his team.
So the Rangers are off to an early lead in the Conference Semi finals, and Brad Kreider is a big part of that. Both of his goals have decided a playoff game. That's some good mojo to have.
Washington will have to put something together for Monday nights game two, unless they want to dig themselves a hole.
