Rensselaer’s Mike Hermann Named The Liberty League’s Player Of The Week
Congratulations to Rensselaer’s Mike Hermann, quarterback during the Engineers 46-27 victory over St. Lawrence this past Saturday. Hermann accounted for 415 yards of offense by himself, part of the 605 total yards RPI picked up in the win.
Hermann is now a two time winner of the weekly award. he accounted for four of RPI’s touchdowns. He passed for three touchdowns and 277 yards and ran for an 88 yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
On the year so far Hermann has hit on almost 66% of his passes (105 of 158) for 1,415 yards, 15 touchdowns and only three picks.
Hermann already leads the Liberty league in eight passing categories on the young season including passing yards per game, quarterback rating, total offense per game, and touchdown passes thrown.
Hermann is also at the top of many Division III categories right now, including being third in total yards.
Hermann will next lead his Engineers into Rochester for a game against the Yellowjackets this coming Saturday at 1:00 p.m..
