Before it becomes old news, but never forgotten, Phil Mickelson’s meltdown on Saturday at the U.S. open was surprising  and made him look foolish. It was hard for me to believe, it was Mickelson behaving like a child, but it was. If he was trying to make a point that the golf course was set up to difficult by the USGA, it didn’t work. It was a bad mark on a player who had the respect of the entire golfing world. Not any longer. Not after acting like a frustrated child playing miniature golf and running to stop his own putt.
