Ahhh yes, hockey is back in full force! One day after Union upset No. 3 Boston University, RPI did it's part in the Capital Region/Beantown showdown.

The Engineers knocked off No.1 Boston College on Sunday afternoon by a score of 2-1.

It's RPI's first win of the year after losing to UMass-Lowell on Friday by a score of 3-0.

RPI coach Seth Appert joined our own Brady Farkas on Monday morning to talk about the win, and what adjustments were made between Friday's loss and Sunday's win.

Appert also said that this win can go a long way toward giving confidence to the team's younger players that they are capable of playing with such a talented team.

We are only two games into the season, but it's a great start for an Engineers team that was picked to finish 10th in the ECAC in the preseason coaches poll.
