Sean McDonough Gives His Thoughts on Giants’ Playoff Chances
Earlier this week on Levack and Goz the guys were joined by the voice of Monday Night Football Sean McDonough. In another dissapointing game to start the season, the New York Giants lost at home to the Detroit Lions 24-10. This is the fourth time in the past five seasons that "Big Blue" has started 0-2. What did the ESPN broadcaster believe was the biggest issue for the Giants offense? Odell Beckham Jr was in the lineup for the Giants for the first time since suffering an injury in the preseason. When did ESPN know Odell Beckham Jr was going to play? What is his impact for this team going forward. Can the Giants get to the playoffs? McDonough said this in response
....I think the way this bunch is playing right now it is not doable because if you can't score twenty points you aren't going to win very often. They managed to win because of the great defense last year to make it to the playoffs but I don't think it's going to happen this year the way they are playing..."
