Section II Soccer Brackets Released

It's hard to believe that the Section II playoffs are beginning in football - and soccer, this week.

Jess Koehler of the Albany Times Union gives us insight on the brackets for the Section II playoffs.

On the boys' side:

Ballston Spa was expected to be good, but not many people had the Scotties pegged as undefeated in Class AA. Schalmont is No. 2 in the state in Class B and Maple Hill is always a power in Class C.

Remember, right at the beginning of the season when we had on head coach Dan Gillespie? He got his 600th win of his career earlier this year.

On the girls' side:

Shen got the top seed in AA after a late-season win over then-number one Niskayuna.
