Syracuse celebrated its selection into the NCAA Tournament like a team that knew it was on the most-fragile of bubbles. And its head coach was right in the middle of it all. Even after 42 seasons.

There was genuine surprise or at least relief and joy when Syracuse's name was revealed as one of the at-large bids and as it turns out, the last at-large bid. The Orange are no stranger to being on the bubble the last few years, missing out on the big dance last season. But the last time people questioned Syracuse's inclusion to the NCAA Tournament, Boeheim and company took their 10 seed all the way to the Final Four.
