There are few modern-day New York Yankees that have done as much for the team as CC Sabathia has. The towering Ace pitcher provided instant dividends by helping the Yankees not only return to but win the World Series in his first year in Pinstripes. From 2009 to 2019 CC was an obvious leader and key part of the Yankees. Little did we all know the Ace of the staff and "stopper" a term used for pitchers so good they can shut down a losing streak was fighting alcohol addiction off the field. CC joined Levack and Goz to talk about his days with the Yankees, his future plans, and why he was willing to pull back the curtain and share his story I the upcoming HBO Sports Special "Under the Grapefruit Tree: The CC Sabathia Story."

In a season that hasn't gone as scripted there's many moments I will remember fondly and not so fondly. On one hand I'm thrilled I got to share CC Sabathia final start with my daughter at Yankee Stadium while on the other hand it hard to say goodbye to the big fella. CC went to Twitter to say goodbye one last time to playing baseball.

CC Sabathia Left Off Yankees’ ALDS Roster
The New York Yankees have decided to leave Left Handed pitcher CC Sabathia off of their ALDS roster. This actually came as a bit of a surprise to me. Sabathia has made it clear he came back for one more run at the World Series and he believed this team could win it. So When Yankees' manager Aaron Boone said the big lefty would sit out this round he was clear with his reason why.

Last night New York Yankees' pitcher CC Sabathia joined the elite club of MLB pitchers with 3,000 strikeouts. There are only 17 pitchers all time in that club and CC is only the THIRD left handed pitcher to join. I for one think he was a Hall of Famer before last night but now there is no question CC is headed to Cooperstown.

Yankees Waste Another CC Outing
The New York Yankees wasted another strong outing by one of their starting pitchers as they lost 4-1 to the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night. C.C. Sabathia gave up 2 earned runs on just five hits in six innings pitched. However, the most impressive thing Sabathia has done over his last few starts is how economical he is with his pitches...

Yankees Need CC Sabathia Against The Tigers
This Yankees season can be summed up with one word "IF." Today's IF is "If CC Sabathia can find a way to give the Yankees solid outings they can keep a Lefty pitcher in their starting rotation." CC has lost some velocity, has a bad knee and is dealing with his demons in the form of alcohol but he's a leader in the clubhouse and the Yankees need him IF they're going back to the
