Texas A&M Basketball Coach Billy Kennedy Announces He Has Parkinson’s Disease

New Texas A&M basketball coach Billy Kennedy revealed on Thursday that he has an early stage of Parkinson’s disease, and he hopes to return to the court in the fall.

“At this time, I am heeding the advice of my doctors and addressing the disease and its symptoms. We have begun a long-term treatment plan and recovery. My doctors are encouraged and are telling me I will be able to come back soon,” he said.

Minnesota Coach Jerry Kill Hospitalized with Seizures Again

Minnesota Gophers head coach Jerry Kill checked himself into the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on Sunday for testing and treatment of multiple seizures he has experienced in recent weeks.

Kill suffered a seizure and collapsed late in the Gophers’ loss to New Mexico State earlier this season. He returned to the sideline the following week, but recently admitted that he has suffered 20 subsequent seizures since that time.
