The New Jersey Devils have been on a tear since the All-Star Break, but the Rangers continue to rule not only the local teams of interest, but the Eastern Conference.

With football now firmly, and ever so depressingly, behind us, the sports world opens up for the NHL to take...stage right (let's face it, the NBA is center stage - sigh).  Pressing on, as any good hockey player would, however, we offer you a brief update on each of the local teams.

It was a pretty cool night in Albany Tuesday night when the New York Rangers faced off against the New Jersey Devils in preseason hockey action.  In what was a hotly contested, surprisingly chippy affair the Devils emerged with the 2-1 overtime win.
