The University at Albany have had a few more alums go pro. On Monday, the Georgia Swarm of the National Lacrosse League selected former UAlbany midfielder's Bennett Drake and Adam Osika.

Drake, who had a prolific career with UAlbany, was selected 47th overall in the fifth round. A second-team All-Conference selection, Drake tallied 111 points, on 80 goals and 31 assists in 64 games.

Osika was a stalwart in UAlbany's midfield the past few seasons and was selected 59th overall in the sixth round. In his UAlbany career, Osika totaled 59 points, on 43 goals and 16 assists, with 63 ground balls, in just 71 games.

Both players will join former UAlbany star's Lyle and Miles Thompson who also play with the Swarm. Lyle Thompson led Georgia to the 2017 NLL Champions Cup and was the league MVP.

The Great Danes have had a player drafted every year since 2012.

The Swarm play their first game of the season on Friday, December 8th against the New England Black Wolves.
