Even though Levack and I are out at Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco, we still want to make sure we are giving you all the great local, Capital Region content that makes you feel connected to the action.

Samson Brown is the Broncos defensive backs assistant coach and he is a UAlbany graduate. He played for legendary coach Bob Ford with the Great Danes and has ridden that all the way to the Super Bowl.

I caught up with Brown at Media Day to talk about the experience, how you stop Cam Newton, his time with the Great Danes and playing for Coach Ford, the growth of the UAlbany program, his take on touchdown dances and celebrations - and he told us about how he still follows the Great Dane basketball program.

LISTEN HERE and watch Brown and the Broncos in Super Bowl on Sunday night against the Panthers.
