104.5 The Team Adds Mike Lupica As Midday Host

104.5 The Team ESPN Radio (WTMM-FM), the Capital Region’s Home for New York Sports, announced today the station will add Lupica, hosted by Mike Lupica, to its midday weekday lineup beginning Monday, December 1.  The show, which covers New York City-area teams including the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets and Rangers, airs Monday-Friday, 1 – 3 p.m. ET.

A native of upstate Oneida, N.Y., Lupica is a nationally recognized sportswriter and author who has been with the New York Daily News for over 35 years, and appears on ESPN’s The Sports Reporters.  Lupica’s show is produced at ESPN Radio in New York City.

104.5 The Team Brand Manager Armen Williams said this addition further epitomizes the station’s overall message: “We are New York sports, and Mike’s New York sports attitude and opinions are a perfect fit. He’s passionate and energetic about the teams that our Capital Region sports fans care about most.”

The new weekday lineup on 104.5 The Team will include Mike &Mike (6 – 10 a.m.), The Herd with Colin Cowherd (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.), Lupica (1 - 3 p.m.) and Armen and Levack (3 – 7 p.m.).
