Washington Commanders @ New York Giants, 1:00 PM, CBS

There were plenty of positives to take away from what New York did this past Sunday night. In what most thought would be an uncompetitive game, the Giants were just a yard away from stealing a win in Orchard Park against the Buffalo Bills. However, believe it or not, the Giants took yet another hit to their offensive line, losing starting guard Shane Lemieux for the season earlier this week. A ferocious front seven, and a capable offense led by Sam Howell will get Washington the win on the road here.

PICK: Commanders -3

Detroit Lions @ Baltimore Ravens, 1:00 PM, FOX

The Lions start to this season may be a surprise to some, but these gears were turning all the way back to last season. Detroit’s won thirteen of their last sixteen regular season games. This year they’ve improved mightily on defense, but now face a tall task. The Lion's defense will have to figure out a way to not only stop quarterback Lamar Jackson from effectively using his legs, but deal with wideout Zay Flowers and a speedy Baltimore receiving group. No running back David Montgomery for Detroit, as well as a much improved Ravens defense could prove to be tough for quarterback Jared Goff and the Lions. The Ravens get it done back at home.

PICK: Ravens -3

Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs, 4:25 PM, CBS

In a game that always excites, Vegas and the ‘wiseguys’ expect this one to be a tad more subdued. Quarterback Justin Herbert and the Chargers are coming off a particularly frustrating game on offense, gaining just 272 yards of total offense against the Cowboys. In their last five meetings, this game has gone over 50 points with an average of 56.6 points combined from the two clubs. Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes will elevate Herbert yet again in this one. Enjoy from the couch, as these elite quarterbacks go blow for blow for their sixth all time matchup.

PICK: Over 47.5 Points

Miami Dolphins @ Philadelphia Eagles, 8:20 PM (SNF), NBC

The Eagles weren’t exactly “exposed”, as the term is commonly used in regards to football; more reality checked by the Jets. Hurts seemed to really struggle under pressure, and it wound up playing a major part in his decision making. Betting against Tua and this Dolphins offense simply isn’t something that should be done right now. With injuries in the Eagles backend of the defense, expect more of the same from Tyreek Hill and this video-game-like Miami offense.

PICK: Dolphins +2.5

San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings, 8:15 PM (MNF), ESPN

As of the writing of this article, Christian Mccaffrey, Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams have been deemed “day to day” by Niners' head coach Kyle Shanahan. Mccaffrey and Williams will likely have a better shot to play than Samuel, but even without these guys, take the great team off an ugly loss in this spot. For Minnesota, they’ll still be without Justin Jefferson, and from what we saw last week from thus offense, it won’t get any prettier against one of the best units in football looking to bounce back in primetime.

PICK: 49ers -6.5
