Albany Devils To Visit Connecticut In AHL Preseason Action

The Albany Devils will participate in a preseason contest on Wednesday, Oct. 3 against the Connecticut Whale. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. at Champions Skating Center in Cromwell, Conn. Admission is $5 and the proceeds will benefit Middlesex Whalers Youth Hockey.

In the 2011-12 season, the Albany Devils finished second-to-last overall in the Eastern Conference with a 31-34-6-5 record (73 points). Meanwhile, the Whale finished sixth in the East with a 36-26-7-7 record (86 points), eventually losing to the Norfolk Admirals in six games during the Conference semifinals.
