The Albany Patroon's seven foot center, Anthony Allen, has played basketball at a high lever all over the world before landing here in the Capital Region. Allen and his family moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut from Jamaica when he was 16 years old and basketball has been a constant in his life ever since.

Allen played collegiately at Oklahoma State and upon graduation decided to take his talent overseas. His last stop before coming to Albany was in the Thai Basketball League where he averaged 22 points and 17 rebounds per game. He played over there for the last couple of years and is eager to play back here in the US.

Albany is the closest to home that Allen has played since high school and he's excited to help the Patroons on their quest for back to back titles. Allen joined me in studio for an interview and we discuss a few topics including basketball at OKST, playing overseas and what he expects this season playing for the Albany Patroons

The Patroons play their next home game on Friday Feb. 14th at the Washington Avenue Armory. Tip off is at 7 pm.
