Eric Li is the co-owner of Kuma Ani which is a ramen, donburi, and ban mein restaurant. There are three locations. One in Troy, Colonie, and Albany.

The New Building Will Not Be Another Kuma Ani

Eric Li's plans for the long-vacant building will consist of eight residential rental units on the upstairs floors along with commercial space on the ground floor. But he did not rule out a small cafe or oyster bar that would be a unique concept according to the Albany Business Review.

The Ferry Street Building is Huge and Needs a Lot of Renovations

It's a three-story just over seven thousand square foot building that was built in 1890. It has been vacant for years. From the pictures listed on Zillow, it looks as if nothing has been done to the inside of the building in years. It is run down and dilapidated. Li would also like to bring more art to the city of Troy. He wants to have a mural painted on the side of the building. He is hoping that the sale will be finalized by the end of the month.
