Best New York Rookie Season Ever?

Last night New York Mets slugger Pete Alonso belted his 42nd home run of the season.

Both Joe Dimaggio and Thurman Munson had great rookie seaosns for the New York Yankees but their stats do not compare to Alonso's. Joe Namath and Lawrence Taylor are the closest with LT helping the Giants back to the playoffs. Is Pete Alonso having the greatest rookie season in New York  history? Let us know below.
