So I was watching highlights of the Orioles/Mariners game the other day and I noticed something pretty cool.  A fan caught 3 foul balls during the game.

Sounds great, right?  Well, not exactly.

This fan was behind home plate and he had a glove. At first glace, I was impressed.  After further review, I realized the guy looked 30. Wow - that’s really nerdy!

I think I was 14 or 15 the last time I took a glove to a baseball game. There comes a point in time when bringing a glove to a game just screams, “I’m still living at home, collecting autographed balls and selling them on eBay”

What are you going to do with that ball when you’re 19?  Put it in your dorm room?

I don’t have a problem with getting a souvenir ball as long as you don’t make it a pre-meditated effort to do so.  But when you bring a glove and you're old enough to drive yourself to the game, perhaps you better think twice.  I'm just sayin'.

So at what age is it too nerdy to bring a glove to a baseball game?  Age 16?  Age 20?  Age 35?  You tell me.  I'd love to hear your feedback.
