We have a lot of funny people around the Capital Region, in fact most of the funniest people I know are from this area and have lived here their whole lives. But there can only be one true funniest comedian in the Capital Region. For the third time, the annual Capital Region's Funniest Comic Competition will make its return in September and October.

The annual competition welcomes all fans of stand-up to four nights of the best the Capital Region has to offer in stand-up comics. Over the course of the four nights over 30 local comedians will be showcased. The top contestants each night will move on to the final round where the top 4 will compete for the title of the Capital Region's Funniest Comic.

All performances will be held on Fridays and Saturdays between September 19th and October 9th at The Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs and Son of Egg in Rensselaer. Each show is scheduled to begin at 8 PM.
