Carrie Underwood VIP Ticket Prices Outrageous

OK, so, my girlfriend loves Carrie Underwood. I respect the singer's talent, but I'm not a big fan. But, I looked to see how much VIP backstage ticket prices would cost me anyway. The top price tickets cost $3,490.

I realize that this has become the norm, but really? Only people with $3,490 lying around can "buy" the chance to meet her. For $3,490, I want her to sing into my answering machine. I get that it's a business, but let's give the fans a break . I met Page and Plant with 20 listeners and guess how much it cost me? Nothing.
