Darren Clarke leads the field after a wet and wild third round of the British Open on Saturday. He has a one stroke lead over American Dustin Johnson and three strokes over Rickie Fowler and Thomas Bjorn.

So who should you pay attention to in the final round? Can the leaders stay put?

Saturday proved to be a crazy third round putting the test right to these professional golfers. Clarke was able to maintain his lead in the tournament. But Fowler and Johnson surged up to the top of the leader board. Johnson started the round in 7th while Fowler came from 19th in the standings. Of course these guys are young and have a lot to prove here in The Open.

Some players to keep an eye on heading into the final round are Miguel Jimenez in 5th along Lucas Glover in the same position. Then you have a solid grouping of Americans in 7th which includes Anthony Kim, Davis Love III, and Phil Mickelson. I would not count any of these veterans out from making a run in the final round. Especially when conditions are forecast  to be poor like they were on Saturday.
