The New York Giants didn't make any trades at the deadline Tuesday, but on Wednesday head coach Tom Coughlin announced that they might get a huge asset back this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"If he's ready, we'll play him," head coach Tom Coughlin told reporters about the return of defensive lineman Jason Pierre paul. Coughlin added, " heis in outstanding physical condition, so we feel good about accelerating him along."

Pierre Paul just returned to the Giants facilities two weeks ago, after having his fingers amputated caused by a firework accident on July 4th. Going into the season he was assigned as the teams franchise player, due to the injury that was rescinded, and he signed a one year deal with payout incentives.
