These are Stefon Diggs’ Honest Feelings About Buffalo Bills’ QB Josh Allen

Stop me if you've heard this before: the relationship between Stefon Diggs and the Buffalo Bills did not seem to end amicably.

Diggs, a 5th round draft selection by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015, had played in Buffalo since 2020. He amassed 5,372 receiving yards during his four years with the Bills, over 700 yards more than he collected during his five seasons in Minnesota.

Yet, for the better part of two seasons, it appeared as though Diggs and the team were at odds with one another. Despite reaching the 1,000 receiving yard threshold in all four seasons with the Bills, and signing a lucrative $104 million contract extension in 2022, Stefon Diggs' relationship with Buffalo continued to deteriorate.

At the same time, it seemed as though Diggs and his quarterback, Josh Allen, weren't on the best terms, either. The biggest example of their alleged falling out came during the 2022 Divisional Round against Cincinatti.

Fast forward to June of 2024, and Diggs is now a member of the Houston Texans, after the Bills chose to trade the star wide receiver earlier in the offseason. Diggs spoke to the media late last week, and as part of his press conference, answered a question about his now-former QB.

Here's what he said:

Look, there's a very good chance that we never learn the truth about what went wrong in Buffalo for Stefon Diggs. At best, we'll probably have to wait until he retires before he'll chose to tell his side of the story, and then hope that the right podcaster asks him the question at the right time.

That's usually how we get the truth from athletes these days, right?

Regardless of what really happened, he said the right things during this press conference, and hopefully, these comments will allow fans on both sides to move on from this story.
