Michael Johnson Jr

Michael is local guy from Colonie NY, who absolutely loves all sports. He’s a huge Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, Cowboys, North Carolina basketball, Notre Dame football, and Chelsea FC fan! After graduating in May of 2021 from the University at Albany, he was hired here at Townsquare Media in Schenectady in July of 2021. After several fun and exciting opportunities within the company, specifically with 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio, he is now currently the co-host and producer of Big Board Sports with Rodger Wyland. You can hear him from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on ESPN Radio 104.5 FM and also on the free 104.5 The Team App. In addition to that, Michael is also the color commentator for both UAlbany football and men’s basketball and is the play-by-play announcer for UAlbany men’s soccer. He has been doing this since September of 2022. He loves his job and have always wanted the opportunity to be a host and producer of a sports talk radio, especially with the local scene, and have the ability to do sports play by play in any capacity. He considers himself very lucky to be surrounded by so many awesome coworkers and is grateful for the opportunity to be working here for Townsquare Media with 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio.
