Chris “Boomer” Berman didn’t exactly showcase his golfing prowess at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.  Check out this hilarious video.

Why is it so enjoyable to watch people fail at golf?  There is just something about it.  I can’t quite put my finger on it.  Maybe watching other people fail is strangely entertaining and makes us feel slightly better about ourselves.  Whatever the reason, I’m one of many fans who could watch bad golf shots all day long.

ESPN’s Chris Berman was ticked off about several unsuccessful bunker shots.  Berman’s short game wasn’t exactly thriving during Day 2 of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Friday.  The disgust on Berman’s face after his first bad shot is hilarious.  He had a lot more fun as he laughed about his awful second shot, which turned out worse.

Boomer and his partner are well behind the current leading team of San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and pro partner Jason Day.  The pair is leading the pro/amateur pairings with a very respectable -19 heading into weekend play.  How bout that?  Good for you, Jimbo.  That Super Bowl loss to the Ravens hasn’t done anything to slow Harbaugh down.
