RODGER'S QUICK TAKE: The Los Angeles Rams got a whole lot better with addition of quarterback Matthew Stafford, and Stafford will finally get his chance to join the group of elite NFL quarterbacks. Stafford was held back in Detroit, because of poor coaching and lack of talent around him. Stafford was spinning his wheels with a team and franchise that is going nowhere. Never been a big fan of Jared Goeff, but always felt Stafford was a new team away from showing off his talents. Rams were the big winners in the blockbuster trade with the Lions.
