The Giants recent hire of Pat Shurmur has sparked much conversation as to what he brings to 'Big Blue'. Levack & Goz, as always, were joined by ESPN's Field Yates to break down the recent hire.

Shurmur's resume isn't the most dazzling. He posted a 9-23 record in two seasons as head coach of the Cleveland Browns from 2011-12. As a coordinator is where Shurmur has had some success, but in his 9+ season as both a head coach and a coordinator, he has 1 playoff victory; and it was the 'Minnesota Miracle' a few weeks ago.

So what does Shurmur bring to the Giants?

"Obviously an offensive mind," Yates said. "Not that he is necessarily going to be an offensive coordinator for the Giants,... but I think he is a bright offensive mind, incredibly diligent, and a hard worker."
