Former UAlbany Basketball Player Julie Forster To Play Professionally In Denmark

After a remarkable collegiate career that resulted in over 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and two NCAA Tournament appearances, Julie Forster's basketball career will continue in Denmark, as she has signed a contract with Stevnsgade BBK of the Dameligaen in Denmark, the highest professional basketball league in the country.

Forster joins one ten teams in the league, and will play in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. In addition to her team, SISU Copenhagen, the defending league champions, also reside in the city.

One of the most decorated athletes in UAlbany basketball history, Forster will go abroad with a number of All-America East distinctions under her belt, which will hopefully prepare her for a successful professional career.
