Former Union hockey goalie Keith Kinkaid made his first NHL start last night, suffering a shootout loss against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Kinkaid's New Jersey Devils fell 3-2.
Kinkaid had 37 saves in 65 minutes of play. He earned the game's second star.
He also spent four years in the AHL.
