Legendary pro wrestler Scott Hall has passed away at the age of 63.
Scott Hall Wrestled For WWF and WCW
Professional wrestler Scott Hall was best known for his character Razor Ramon while wrestling for the WWF who is now the WWE. Hall spent the back end of his career wrestling for the WCW where he became a founding member of the New World Oder with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.
Scott Hall signed on with the WWF in May of 1992 under the name Razor Ramon. Hall spent 4 years with the WWF and won the Intercontinental Championship belt four times.
Scott Hall and the nWo
When Scott Hall left the WWF, he moved on to WCW and that is where he formed the New World Order with legendary wrestlers Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. The nWo is where Hall became a two-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion. Hall was also a one-time WCW World Television Champion but he scored big time with the nWo by winning the WCW World Tag Team Championship 9 times.
Scott Hall Return to WWF
Scott Hall left WCW after 4 years and returned to the WWF but this time around was even shorter than the first time he was there. Hall then bounced around other wrestling organizations like the ECW, NJPW, and TNA where he along with Kevin Nash became the TNA World Tag Team Champions.
Scott Hall's Impact on the Wrestling Industry
Hall is a two-time inductee to the WWE's Hall of Fame. Where Hall impacted the sport the most was outside of the ring where he helped establish a change in how wrestlers were paid and got performers a guarantee which is now the norm in wrestling. His time with the nWo produced some of the highest ratings in wrestling history and those numbers may never be achieved again.
Scott Halls Death
According to WOOD, just before Hall passed away, he was in the hospital recovering from hip surgery when he suffered multiple heart attacks at a hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Unfortunately, Hall had to be removed from life support. An "in memory of" graphic was at the beginning of the most recent WWE RAW event.
Fellow wrestler Kevin Nash knew Hall was going to die and said this on Instagram: As we prepare for life without him, just remember there goes a great guy you ain't going to see another one like him again. I couldn't love a human being any more than I do you."
