Things are going pretty good for the Buffalo Bills in 2022. Sure, the AFC Divisional round ended awful but the Bills are going into the 2022 regular season as Super Bowl favorites and have likely the most complete roster in the NFL.

They also have one of the two or three best quarterbacks in the entire league.

Josh Allen has been outstanding the past two seasons. This after great improvement in 2019 and leading the Bills to 10 wins and a playoff berth. His 2018 rookie campaign featured a lot of growing pains, but his growth has been amazing.

Allen was not always beloved by Bills fans. Some were fans of him at Wyoming and liked the pick at number 7 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, while many others hated the selection. The criticism from national draft experts was Allen’s inaccuracy and lack of competition in the Mountain West Conference, which many fans latched onto.

Recently, the Bills tweet of Allen getting picked in 2018 made the rounds again on Twitter. One of Josh’s wide receivers, Gabriel Davis responded to the tweet with all the doubters in the thread.

I have been wrong about a ton of prospects over the years, but I was one of the few who loved Allen coming out of Wyoming. That being said, even I did not see Allen being THIS good. The fact he’s still improving is scary. His ceiling as a prospect is being realized.

We are all wrong about things, and thank goodness many fans and experts were wrong about this one.
