Are The Buffalo Bills Even Better Than Last Season?
The Buffalo Bills are even better than they were last season. Even without star wide receiver Stefon Diggs leaving and some key pieces being traded and also injured on defense, they seem to be even better overall and the chemistry appears to be even better too. Head coach Sean McDermott has been highly criticized during his tenure as head coach of the Bills, but fans need to appreciate how good of a job he has done rebuilding the culture in Buffalo. And as long as they have Josh Allen as their quarterback, than they will be fine in this league. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
I was wrong about the Buffalo Bill's, they have not taken a step back. I had major concerns in the preseason about quarterback Josh Allen having enough playmakers at wide receiver and could effectively run the football. Halfway through the season Allen has more talented receivers to throw in years led by Khalil Shakir and the addition of Amari Cooper will pay off in a big way before the season is over. Buffalo can run the football with James Cook and Ty Johnson which compliments the passing game. Buffalo is by far and away the best team in the AFC-East and they are one of the best in the AFC.
Next up for the Bills are the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday which will be a tough opponent but I like the Bills to improve to 8-2 overall.
