There's a more than good chance you've caught Matt Barrie anchoring SportsCenter or ESPN's coverage of golf or heard him on ESPN Radio or his podcast Matty and the Caddie. You get the idea; Matt Barrie is a man of many platforms with ESPN, but even he would agree, golf and college football are his bread and butter.

Barrie sat down with Herm Edwards before this college football season and the first-year Sun Devils head coach has Arizona State off to a 2-1 start. Barrie is an ASU alum and he has high hopes for his team. As a college football aficionado, Barrie weighs in on Alabama's dominance, another Urban Meyer misstep and how 3/4 of the college football playoff field is already Sharpie'd in.

On top of Arizona State facing its biggest challenge this weekend (10th ranked Washington), $10 million is on the line at the TOUR Championship in Atlanta. As far we're all concerned, it's simply a prelude to the Ryder Cup where the United States might have its best chance in a long time to end a drought of winning on European soil. It's something the red, white and blue hasn't done in 25 years.
